On the morning of the 12th, Matt and his entourage visited the Science and Technology Department of Jiangsu Province. Director of the International Cooperation Office Zhao Yangwei and Deputy Director Guo Hong extended a warm welcome to his visit. Afterwards, Director Zhao fully affirmed OUI’s performance in Jiangsu’s scientific and technological services and briefly introduced Jiangsu’s international cooperation. Results. On the afternoon of the 12th, Liu Bin, Director of Changzhou Science and Technology Bureau, met with Matt and his party, and the two parties had an in-depth exchange of views on further promoting cooperation. After the meeting, Jiang Pengju, deputy director of the Changzhou Science and Technology Bureau, led Matt to inspect Qianhong Biochemical Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. Changzhou Qianhong Biochemical Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. is located in Changzhou National High-tech Development Zone. It is a national high-tech enterprise with technology-intensive knowledge in Jiangsu Province. Intensive enterprises, the national "New Biochemical Enzyme High-tech Product Industrialization Demonstration Project" and the national "Three Medicines Base" key backbone enterprises. On the afternoon of the 13th, Matt and his entourage came to Suzhou Industrial Park for investigation. Under the leadership and introduction of the leaders of the park, I learned about the development process and major deeds of Suzhou Industrial Park, and visited the Suzhou Nano Biotechnology Park and the National University of Singapore Suzhou Research Institute. Later, I visited Oxford University-Suzhou Advanced Research Center (OSCAR), which is the first multidisciplinary research, innovation, and technology center established by Oxford University overseas. It will be committed to research through knowledge creation and innovation development. Activities, innovative projects with commercial value will be selected for technological development and business incubation, and its scientific research direction will match the development of emerging industries in Suzhou Industrial Park. Afterwards, Matt and Secretary Jiang Weiming of the Management Committee of Dushu Lake Science and Education Innovation Zone held talks, and the two parties discussed resource sharing and strengthening cooperation. Matt expressed great appreciation for the development of Suzhou Park and expressed full confidence in future cooperation. At the same time, he also said that OUI Jiangsu platform and OSCAR are both the Oxford University settled in Suzhou institution.
