The Jiangsu Province International Science and Technology Cooperation Association (JAISTC) was initiated on July 8, 2016, by five organizations, including the Jiangsu Entrepreneurship Service Center. It is a provincial, cooperative, professional, and non-profit social organization registered and managed by the Jiangsu Provincial Civil Affairs Department.

The association serves as an extension and complement to official science and technology foreign affairs work, undertaking tasks commissioned by government science and technology departments. On the other hand, it provides services such as training, intermediation, consulting, technology transfer, and enterprise incubation, playing a role in socialized services for the third industry. In response to the national "Belt and Road" strategy and the important deployment of the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee and Government to build the province into a globally influential industrial technology innovation center during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, JAISTC will fully leverage the global international science and technology partnership network, promoting the aggregation of international high-quality resources to Jiangsu and facilitating the transfer of international advanced technology to Jiangsu, thereby serving Jiangsu's economic construction, social development, and scientific and technological progress.

6.Editing and publishing publications, materials, and books on international scientific and technological exchanges and cooperation.

JAISTC is a non-governmental organization engaged in promoting international science and technology cooperation in Jiangsu Province. It serves as a civilian platform for international science and technology cooperation and exchanges, a gathering place for international science and technology cooperation workers in Jiangsu Province, and a channel and window for foreign partners seeking cooperation in technology with Jiangsu.

Since its establishment, JAISTC has worked together with provincial incubator associations, the Wuxi Talent Leadership Group Office, and other institutions to organize senior management personnel from high-tech zones, incubators, high-tech enterprises, universities, and research institutes in Jiangsu to visit and conduct training and project matching activities in the United States, Canada, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Israel, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, and other countries on themes related to science and technology parks and incubator management, intelligent manufacturing, and leadership enhancement. Simultaneously, JAISTC has assisted some high-tech zones in the province to set up offices overseas and organized investment promotion and talent introduction activities. Utilizing abundant overseas innovation resources, JAISTC successfully facilitated projects such as the establishment of the Monash University Metal 3D Printing Project, FESTO from Germany, and the wafer testing equipment (AOI) project of the listed company Changchuan Technology in Jiangsu province.

Furthermore, the association often visits enterprises to collect demands for international innovation and conducts consultations and diagnosis. Previously, it led experts from the Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Technology in Germany to visit Yangzhou, Suzhou, Wuxi, and other prefecture cities in Jiangsu for technology needs matching and held training activities in intelligent manufacturing. Currently, JAISTC is also working on the technical matching and transfer of a batch of projects.
